Philip S. Levatino
Philip S. Levatino, 90, of East Haven, passed away on June 24 at his home. He was the husband of Anita DeMarco Levatino. Phil was born in East Haven on April 16, 1930, to the late Rosario and Liz Ansaldo Levatina.
He worked at the Sargent Company for 40 years, starting out as a machinist and eventually promoted to a managerial position. He and his wife enjoyed spending nights on the East Haven Green dancing, going to the casino, and traveling to amazing places like Hawaii and Italy. He truly loved being outside and just tinkering around the yard.
He is survived by four sons, Philip (Maureen) Levatino of East Haven, and Steven (Kelly) Levatino, Ross Levatino, and Frankie Levatino, all of West Haven; a daughter, April Wilson of East Haven; and a sister, Mary Marcucci. He also leaves 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Levatino.
