A Special Day in Madison

By Noreen Kokoruda

Sunday, Feb. 21 marks a special day in Madison. It’s a day we invite everyone to join us for a car parade honoring Eileen and Tom Banisch. As they leave town for their new lives in South Carolina, we want to thank them for more than three decades of service to our community.

Multiple town organizations and citizens are coming together to recognize Eileen and Tom’s contributions to Madison. The parade will leave the Surf Club at noon on Sunday, come up to Route One and drive by their house at 554 Boston Post Road.

I encourage your readers to come join the celebration and say good bye to a very special couple—meet us at the Surf Club at 11:30 a.m. Also “thank you” lawn signs are available—those would like one may contact me at 203-245- 9054.

As we started planning this event, we saw an outpouring of support that has been incredible. The personal stories of how the Banisches have touched so many people’s lives have been heartwarming. I encourage your readers to come join us and celebrate two of Madison’s best.
