Recent Valley Regional graduate Jacob Robertson was an integral part to the Warriors’ starting rotation this season, along with turning in some relief appearances. Jacob and his teammates earned Valley’s first State Tournament victory in 13 seasons.

Madelyn Costello had a strong sophomore year with the Valley Regional girls’ track program. Madelyn finished second in the high jump at the Shoreline Conference Indoor Championship, and she also ran on a runner-up 4x100 relay team at Shorelines during the outdoor season. Jack Finnegan played shortstop for the John Winthrop Middle School baseball team and helped the Chargers turn in an undefeated season. Jack batted throughout the lineup and was always willing to do whatever the Chargers needed to help them get a win.

Josh Ross recently finished his fourth season as the starting varsity catcher for the Valley Regional baseball squad. Josh posted a .420 batting average and had 16 RBI for the Warriors, who claimed their first State Tournament victory since 2006 this spring.

Senior Allie Champion helped the Valley Regional girls’ tennis team put together a historic season that included a 22-2 record and the program’s first appearance in a state final. Allie and her doubles partner Ada Ramos also finished with a record of 22-2 to go with a first-place finish in the Shoreline Conference Doubles Tournament.
