Undeterred by the cold weather outside, Charlie Van Over of Chester celebrated his recent birthday a frosty treat, some Madagascar vanilla ice cream from Honeycone Craft Ice Cream, 29 Main Street, Chester, a gift from his friends Peter Good and Janet Cummings Good. Charlie’s wife, Priscilla Martel, topped it with some hot chocolate sauce she made with Callebaut bittersweet chocolate, Guittard unsweetened, a little sugar, cream, and milk.
