While the Cherry Blossom Festival in New Haven’s historic Wooster Square has once again been canceled this year, a date has been set for 2022, and, in the meantime, the people at One World Roasters, 967 North High Street, East Haven have a way for us to celebrate this year. They’ve added a new addition to their permanent signature latte menu, the Cherry Blossom, made with espresso, milk or a non-dairy alternative, along with the taste of sweet cherry, almond syrup, and tangy drops of lime, hot or iced. And, while the festival is canceled, the folks at One World Roasters remind us we can still enjoy a walk or picnic lunch under the flowering cherry trees during the last week of April into the first week of May.
