Betty A. (Johnston) Marshall, 98, of Guilford, previously of Palm Coast and Jacksonville, Florida, and Newington, passed away peacefully on March 25, with her devoted children by her side. Betty was born Jan. 21, 1923, the only child of Merle S. Johnston and Hazel (Russ) Johnston.

She grew up in Washington, Pennsylvania, surrounded by a warm and loving family, spending her summers in Shallotte, North Carolina, enjoying the ocean life that she so loved.
